We are committed to providing a Christ-centered program for our young children by:
Providing a healthy, loving, enriched atmosphere where children can learn and thrive while feeling safe, loved, happy and challenged.
Promoting language and math skills through reading & literacy programs and well developed lesson plans.
Welcoming children warmly and lovingly, accepting celebrating them for who they are. We believe children should be eager to come to school, to learn and have fun. The happiness and well being of each child is of utmost importance to us. We respect the role of the parent and influence the parent has on the child. We will nurture this relationship by providing parent involvement activities and by including parents in all aspects of the child's development with us.
iDiscover Christian Academy uses Creative Curriculum. Creative Curriculum balances both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to children's learning styles and building on their strengths and interests. The curriculum applies the latest theory and research on best practices in teaching and learning the content standards developed by states and professional organizations. While keeping the original environmentally-based approach it clearly defines the teacher's vital role in connecting, teaching, and learning for preschool children. It features goals and objectives linked directly to our valid and reliable assessment instrument.
Every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and praise. Our teachers focus on building every child’s self esteem and confidence through positive feedback and rewards. We nurture their natural strengths. A child see’s the world around them with wonder and awe, we believe in encouraging their natural curiosity.
